Knowing how to swim is a valuable life skill! The Surrey Outdoor Pools are offer the Lifesaving Society Swim for Life Program from certified instructors for ages ranging from Preschool right through to adults.

For 2024 we will be moving to online registration. Registration will open in May (exact date still TBC as we build out that website). Check back here towards the end of April for an exact date and more details.
2024 Lesson Dates
Monday - Friday
Spring Set: Jun 24 - Jun 28 (5 classes)
Set 1: Jul 1 - Jul 12 (10 classes)
Set 2: Jul 15 - Jul 26 (10 classes)
Set 3: Jul 29 - Aug 9 (10 classes)
Set 4: Aug 12 - Aug 23 (10 classes)
Set 5: Aug 26 - Aug 30 (5 classes)
NOTE: Lessons still run on Statutory holidays (Canada Day July 1st and BC Day August 5th)

Preschool (30 minutes) - $100.00 ($50.00)*
Swimmer 1 - 3 (30 minutes) - $73.20 ($36.60)*
Swimmer 4 - 6 (45 minutes) - $92.80 ($46.40)*
Fitness Swimmer (45 minutes) - $92.80 ($46.40)*
Private Lessons (30 minutes) - $36.95/per class

Swim for Life Level Info & Class Size
Parent & Tots 1-3 - under 3 years of age
Preschool 1-5 - 3 to 5 years of age, max. 4 children per class
Swimmer 1-3 - 6 years plus, max. 6 children per class
Swimmer 4-6 - 6 years plus, max. 8 children per class
Fitness Swimmer - 6 years plus, max. 8 children per class

Leisure Access Program (LAP)
The Outdoor Pool’s do take LAP registrations. Staff will need a little additional time to verify LAP cards with an indoor facility with access to the data base.
